About

I advise business and government leaders on the things they can't easily get from legal firms and in-house functions - the parts of a programme that rely on relationships, judgement and the long-term management of reputation.

Toby Ward

London

Six years at Hanover Communications, latterly running the financial services practice, advising executive teams across banking, insurance and capital markets through UK withdrawal from the European Union, regulatory reform and the political risk of that period. Long-standing relationships with Goldman Sachs, Nomura, UBS, Lloyds, Virgin Money and AFME amongst others.

Accenture

Four years leading government relations for the UKI public services and technology businesses, working alongside executive, legal and commercial teams on policy, regulatory and market issues, and latterly driving European market access through public policy into the Netherlands and Finland.

The Gulf

Three and a half years with Consulum across Riyadh and Dubai - first as Director leading campaigns for a regional economic regulator and investor attraction agency, then as Senior Director on a flagship sovereign wealth fund mandate linked to Vision 2030. Most work involved governance, positioning and national-scale economic programmes.

Now independent

Based between Riyadh, London and Dubai, working with a small number of principals.
